Any joint that carries Simi Chardonnay by the glass is a friend of mine! Suri bests: Becky the Bartender, tuna tatare, duck confit flatbread... so far, as I'm still exploring their menu. More to come!

This restaurant is a culinary delight! Each time we've dined at Suri the meals have been consistently delicious. You can order small or large plates. Nana's meatballs, the fish tacos and tuna tower are my favorites. We order numerous small plates and share. The owner Mathew, greets each party as they arrive and always checks back to make sure everything is perfect. Robin, who has been our server our last 3 visits, is extremely attentive and always very pleasant. Suri's ambiance is very pleasing and relaxing. We look forward to our next visit.

It only took one visit to make this restaurant one of my favorites... They are a tapas place with a farm to table philosophy. Aside from that, they just know how to cook. Everything was prepared well, seasoned correctly and was delicious. Our first visit, we ordered the Waygu Beef Sliders, Tacos (mahi mahi and pork), Peruvian Skirt Steak, and Lobster Risotto. For dessert we shared Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich. Tonight, had Beggars Purse, the meat and cheese plate, Chicken and biscuit, Waygu sliders, Tacos, and Lobster Risotto. All was delicious (though, I didn't touch the tacos because all the food coming at once). The service is very good, too. Was very happy to get reservations on a Friday for 7:45 without a problem. Food came out quickly, too. (Though, our visit tonight, came out a little too quickly...this was our fourth visit and we ordered four small plates and two large....all plates came out within 10 minutes of each other making it a little rushed to eat else suffer from cold food...that was probably the biggest shortcoming we have seen since first eating here). On our first two visits, thought it was a slight negative was trying to find parking. There are a few public lots a few blocks over, so it is not a really bad parking situation. Fortunately though, last two visits, we realized that they have valet parking, so that problem is solved. Eat here, you won't be disappointed.

What a true hidden gem located in downtown Lake Worth! My husband and I popped in for dinner last night and it was absolutely fantastic. We were greeted and seated right away after confirming our reservation. Our waitress provided some excellent recommendations about the menu. It definitely helped since the both of us were undecided on what to get. I got the Suri-punch cocktail and it was mixed with mango rum, pineapple and lemon juice, and a splash of grenadine. It was a nice buzz that came with it as well. Our appetizer was the poached pear and caramelized onion along with ricotta and brie cheese flatbread. The entrees we shared were the Sur-thern chicken biscuit with sweet potato chips and the lobster macaroni and cheese. The chicken biscuit came with small jar of honey for an optional topping for our sandwich and the potato chips were seasoned with a cinnamon sugar for a magic touch. The mac n' cheese skillet consisted of white cheddar, brie, and manchego cheese topped with bacon and parmesan cheese. All of the items were delicious and cooked perfectly. The portions were big enough for us to share and we were happily filled up. We went ahead and got a dessert since we didn't want to regret it. The key lime cheesecake was not too sweet and it was a little runny. The service was phenomenal and we were thanked by one of the managers for coming in as well. Our table was kept clean and our glasses were full while the staff made sure our food was to our liking each course. We would definitely go back and try some of the other menu items that are offered. It's highly recommended if you're looking for a place to eat in the area and to have a wonderful relaxing experience.

My husband threw me a birthday party on Sunday. We had over 60 guests and Matt and his staff were fabulous. I have gotten so many phone calls from family and friends who stated what a fabulous place Suri is and how hospitable Matt the owner was. The food, flat breads, mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes, mahi mahi, steak and chicken were over the top. Drinks were in abundance and fabulous. I highly recommend giving Suri a try. I know my family and friends will definitely be coming back.

Went to Suri last night because I got a coupon in the mail. This is a beautiful restaurant in a great location. They just opened, so I understand they have kinks to work out. Tried the tuna tartar. It had very good flavor but was not cold at all. In my mind I feel better eating raw fish very cold. Also had the caprese salad, good but nothing special. Then tried the duck cigars. They were very good and crispy. Came with a whipped horseradish crème that was served in an ashtray. Clever presentation. Next I had scallops. They were cooked perfectly and were melt in your mouth delicious. The only complaint I have about the scallops is that they were served over very boring squash and zucchini. I really like the fact that this restaurant has a farm to table concept. Hopefully they will work on their issues and be successful.

Loud, fun atmosphere; interesting menu and good food; friendly but confused service. New place so we went to give it a go. The menu is diverse and the food was good. The service while friendly was really not good at all. sides and condiments we requested (several times ) only were provided after the food was cold (yes we had to ask for things that many times and it took that long). Hopefully the management will figure this out and improve what is really incompetent service. Go for te food and hope you get what you ordered.

Almost don't want to tell you about this hidden gem. Pay the five dollars in valet park outside, he's a cool guy and will bring your car back right away.... Not that far away from a chocolate shop and an ice cream shop...this place has great friendly service; people smile and are very attentive. Loved the flatbread, meatballs and acorn squash; not so much the corn. Lamb was cooked as we asked...must have Brie....great fun drinks...parents even liked this place....we just ordered for them...bring friends, old folks...get a bunch of things...can't wait to go back and try more dishes. I loved the key lime cheesecake...just take it to go if you don't have room....ask them to bring back the flaming drink

I had mixed feelings when we first arrived. The place was not too packed, but the service to start was a little slow. The couple next to us asked if we have been served, and she said it took 20 minutes until they were recognized. I debated with my friend about leaving, but she really wanted to try the place out. The manager (or owner) asked if we have been helped. We said no, and he made sure someone came over to us quickly. Once we were greeted, the service went a lot smoother. Also, the manager (or owner) caught me taking pictures and asked if that was for Yelp. I said yes, and he thanked me. He also came back to us numerous times to check how things were going. The same guy was really nice and informative when I asked about what items were vegetarian. He also confirmed that vegans would have a harder time finding something to eat. Once I understood what I was able to eat, my friend and I ordered a few items to split. We ordered the Stone Fire Brie, brussels sprouts (side item), butternut squash ravioli and the roasted tomato and basil flatbread. The butternut squash ravioli came with only four ravioli. The taste was amazing, but it would not be something that would fill me up. It is a tapa bar too, so I am not surprised at that portion size. All the other servings were a lot larger. Overall, I found the food be really tasty. I was not disappointed. The staff was a little slow at the beginning, but it was great after the manager (or owner) stepped in. I really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere here.

i really liked this place. We had the cured meat and cheese plate, one of the flatbreads and the peruvian (skirt steak with some type of mashed potato) and all of the plates were great. The wine portions were great as well.

My boyfriend and I came here on the Fourth of July because I have been wanting to try their menu out! Turns out, the hype (I created in my mind) is real. The whole menu looks amazing. I tried a grape cocktail which was delicious and my boyfriend had wine. We also ordered the apple and Brie flatbread and the ravioli. The ravioli was okay but nothing crazy. It was on happy hour and very inexpensive which is why I didn't mind it's whatever flavor. The flatbread on the other hand is by far the best flat bread I have ever had. And I have tried quite a few!! Service was very nice! The bar back Michael immediately began talking to my boyfriend and I and keeping us company while the preshift was going on. Michael had a lot to say and really kept us entertained. He recommended dishes to us which we thoroughly enjoyed. To be honest, the ambience, food, and drinks were nice, but if it wasn't for Michael speaking to us while we were at the bar, and really caring about knowing us, I wouldn't give this place 5 stars. If Michael were up to it, I would love to see him as a bartender! I'm sure a lot of people would come specifically for him. Thank you for the amazing experience suri! See you asap

I love the food here, but I left Suri after valet and they pointed me the wrong direction. I couldn't find my car, which I was concerned about having been attacked I that area. The staff said walk east, which I had done. They said did you check the side streets? I said of course not. I was attacked before and that's why I valet. They said I left and came back. I said for 3 minutes to get my car. After dropping more than $100 I was sincerely disappointed in their lazy effort. Some of the staff was sincerely remorseful, but not the management. It was a rude awakening and I'm glad I had others with me as I had to play "Where's Waldo" with my car in a dangerous area. Too bad we won't be back.

Food good and innovative, but when asked about farm to table owner and other staff were very vague. Saying they source from Produce stands seems less then the specific details most Farm to table places have proudly given me at other similar restaurants. I'm calling balderdash.

Loved this place from the moment I walked in!! The ambiance was delightful, the atFf was on point and super efficient. There were 3 of us and we ordered several small tapas and a few large ones which were all appropriate to share. I left satisfied and not overstuffed. I will definitely be back.

This place was fantastic. All of the food was excellent - they specialize in "garden to table" food, so everything was mega fresh, and tasted great. They have a lot of new things you wouldn't normally see (grilled Brussels sprouts with Sriracha aoli) and they were delicious. The menu is seasonal, and we tried some items from the Winter Menu (mushroom risotto) that I would highly recommend. The service was also great - the owner Matt walked around the entire time and personally checked in with us throughout the meal. All in all, a top spot that I would recommend highly to everyone

Way overpriced for the amount of food they give you! My husband and I ordered the just you and me platter. His sister recommended the place and did warn us the amount was small. We ended up getting the Just you and me chicken and snapper plates. The snapper was not even enough food for 1 person! We shared both dishes and which totalled around 55.00. We were both hungry when we left! I ordered a martini which they overcharged for and there was not one ounce of liquor in that drink. I had to go to Igots in order to get a good drink. My husband too ordered grey goose and cranberry. I tasted his drink, barely any liquor. This place yes has a nice atmosphere, and i yes the food was good, but i will never go back. We spent 78.00 and left with no buzz and still hungry. We has to get pizza and drinks across the street. Very upset and will never go back!

The service was excellent from our server, to the constant clearing off of the table by staff, to the owners coming over asking how everything was. Great over all customer service. The food was trendy and the plates were beautifully displayed. The tapas plates, small meal portions, were a little on the high priced side in my opinion for the quality and portion size. The average plate was around 12-18$. My only issue was towards the end of our meal, the waitress tell us about the special tapa for the evening. We agreed, but when the bill arrived that special was $29 for the plate! It was nothing special and not worth $29 by far. I thought this was sneaky by her not letting us know the price when all of the plates were under $20 on the menu. This was a turn off for me.

Ambience is classy: low light & candlelit tables, with a black & white film projected on an outdoor brick wall. The food was average, especially considering the price. All plates are appetizer sized. We split fried brussel sprouts, ceviche, breaded lobster bites, & a few more dishes among 4 people. We all just got a small bite off each dish.

Wow! So much from which to choose! Everything we got was soooooo good. Such an inspiration for a cook like me! We had: Bad-ass sea bass, scallops ay dios mio, butternut squash ravioli, duck confit cigar, calamari special, and poulet a Provencal. We are going to have to come back to try everything else!

Lake Worth needed an upscale place like this with table cloths, professional servers and a unique menu. The risoto and tapas are fabulous. It's front wall opens to outdoors, and the breezes and people watching add to the great ambiance.

We had a wonderful meal ! Food was fantastic , service outstanding - even bartender after dinner was very personable ! I would recommend the Sea Bass , Lobster Risotto or the lobster and crab lollipops - so much fun to try different plates and share ! Wine list and beer choices are extensive and delicious ! Ate at a few spots on Lake Ave - by far our favorite ! We will be back !

The food was overpriced ($7 per scallop) but it was made well. I had such a negative experience with one of the managers that I will never set foot in the restaurant again. It was dehumanizing to have him stand literally 4 feet away from me, but have the bartender convey the back-and-forth messages between us so that he wouldn't have to deal with talking to me face-to-face about something he ended up being wrong about later. He never acknowledged it, nor tried to smooth things over after his attitude and disrespectful treatment.

A Hidden Gem! Well, I must say we stumbled across this little hideaway and we are thankful we did! To start off , We spent a good part of the evening trying to find somewhere different yet good to eat. We started off at the old key lime house but it was just way too hot, muggy and crowded so we left. Then started to drive , made our way to the ave in downtown lake worth driving by the restaurants . my bf then spotted Suri from the road and said hmm that place looks interesting..so we decided to park and give it a shot. We walked in and were very pleasantly surprised of the look and feel of the restaurant. It had a very chic modern appearance with some very nice ambient music playing. All of the staff were dressed in black. Very nice clean feel. Kind of felt like we were In a hip bar in Manhattan or something. I really liked that. So we were greeted right away... As well as sat immediately. The place was not too packed , but not empty either. It was just right. The waitress came over right away and took our drink order. They had a nice selection of wines. The timing for ordering was pretty on point. We both ordered the ceviche which was very fresh and Delish and a Tuna tar tar ( very good also) at that point I was full and my bf then order the be veg lasagna which was also too die for! All the food was excellent. Here's my only complaint, the waitstaff was too smothering 3 different people came over to ask of we were done with our dish when we Weren't and it was getting quite irritating. I get how the upper management probably stresses to them to prebus the tables but it was way to much. We were trying to have a conversation while slowly enjoying our food and evening and were feeling rushed. Other than that it was great! Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars! Oh and the owner is super cool too! We will definitely be back. We are really hoping this place sets the tone and starts a trend for in downtown lake worth and gets cleaned up! It definitely needs a face lift! Way to go Suri!

Overpriced, food is below average and unfulfilling best sums this place, the only good feature about this establishment is a cool menu and its indoor outdoor sobe atmosphere. Won't be back.

Some restaurants that set out to do something different with their menus succeed enough to interest you when you're there but once is enough. Not Suri. We're down from NJ and had a wonderful dinner at Suri tonight and will most definitely be back. The staff is very cordial and friendly, and genuinely so - the menu is varied and interesting, the food tasted great, and it's a good value for what you get and the setting. We look forward to return visits and will recommend it to our friends.

When the promotional mailer advertising the debut of Suri Tapas Bar arrived in our mail we were intrigued. After checking out their slick website and creative menu we were more then excited. All promised what could be a great, and much needed, addition to the Lake Worth dining scene. I grabbed an Open Table 7:30PM reservation for my partner and me on their opening night, June 14th. They had apparently being doing soft opening activities the previous week or two. The restaurant front is fully open and features a sidewalk bar where patrons can smoke. Regrettably this requires that all entering must pass through a cloud of cigarette smoke. Even worse, this feature results in smoke being carried into the front section of the dining room. Once inside we were pleasantly greeted by three properly attired young woman, one of whom guided us to a table in the aforementioned front dining room. When we objected to the smoke she graciously redirected us to a booth further into the dining room across from the long main bar. Unfortunately the booth was an uncomfortably large six-top with seating so soft and low that the table top felt like it could almost touch our chins. We then noticed that seating was available at the bar and decided to dine there. At this point the restaurant was busy but definitely not filled to capacity. It did seem like there was an abundance of servers, food runners and bus people actively milling about. Behind the bar were three bartenders; at the far end, Justin who did the lion's share of the work, a woman wearing the most outrageous cherry red bustier I have ever seen and a second male bartender. The latter two did little and couldn't seem to get out of their own way. Justin greeted us briefly as he filled what seemed like an endless string of drink orders being picked up by the milling servers. Finally he took our drink order and brought menus. Our drink preparation was sandwiched into the myriad of others being sent to the server pick-up station. As a result mine arrived almost five minutes before my companions. At that point we gave him our order for two starters, Shrimp Tostones Caribe and Prosciutto Wrapped Figs. And then we sat and waited, and watched the chaos at the bar's server pick up station. After about 10 minutes we asked bartender number 2 for water and napkin/flatware in anticipation of our food. We also asked him some basic questions about the menu/food which he couldn't answer. And we waited. And watched the chaos. And drank. After about 15 more minutes the Tostones arrived; nothing special with plantains so thick and dry they overpowered the shrimp and not enough salsa. And we waited. And watched the chaos. And drank. And ordered the Cured & Sliced Plate. After 30 more minutes the figs finally appeared, almost an hour after they were first ordered; be forewarned, the cherry pinot noir reduction on the figs is cloyingly sweet. Earlier orders of the same dish sent to other diners were served with 4 pieces, ours came with 3. After more waiting, watching and drinking the Cured and Sliced Plate arrived, missing one of the three promised meats, the olives and with no crostini. Upon our asking a plate with 2, yes 2, pieces of crostini were delivered. We asked for additional and were delivered 2 more pieces. In spite of it's omissions, I judged this to be the best of the food items we ordered. The quality of the components was excellent and portions generous. In full disclosure, given its shortcomings, the Cured & Sliced plate was discounted by 50%. And those three plates are the extent of what two hearty adult men shared for dinner over the course of the 2 hours and 10 minutes we sat at that bar. We would have, and wanted to, eat more but it just wasn't worth the hassle. In closing, it would be unfair not to comment positively about bartender Justin. He seemed to really know his stuff, was personable with patrons to the degree time permitted, never lost his cool and worked very quickly. He was just overwhelmed and saddled with two under trained, to put it nicely, coworkers behind the bar. To add insult to injury, the following morning I received an email from Open Table notifying me that upon my checking in at the restaurant, Suri canceled my reservation causing me to loose my dining points. Clearly, Suri has significant management and employee utilization and training issues. I can understand that there are bugs to be worked out in any new operation, but the number and seriousness of their problems is beyond extreme. In spite of their apparent over staffed operation, there was no one present who seemed to be in charge or acting in a managerial manner. I wish them good luck.

We walked up and down downtown Lake Worth and decided to try this place as we had never been to a restaurant like this before and it boasted fresh ingredients on the menu which enticed us into the door. However in hind-site I wished we would have gone to another place. We were offered, upon being seated, sparkling water, flat water, or "Lake Worth" water. We chose Lake worth water as it was something we both thought we were familiar with but it had an unpleasant taste and odor. I live in Lake Worth and my water has never tasted like that. Our lovely waitress then explained the process of tapas style dining, to which we were unfamiliar with, and we began to peruse the menu deciding on one item to share and then we each got an item to ourselves. We chose the Peruvian to share which is described as "Grilled skirt Steak, purple potato puree, grilled cherry tomatoes, melting shallots, chimichurri" I have to say that taking a second look at the menu this morning the steak was cooked perfectly to our specifications however it was bland and I can only imagine the charred bits scattered around the meat were shallots. There were no cherry tomatoes to speak of at all and the purple potato puree was more grayish but tasted better than the meat did. My friend ordered the Mahi slider which he didn't care for at all. I ordered the Tuna and it was wonderful. This was the only redeeming quality of the meal. We also ordered a mixed drink to get the taste of the 'Lake Worth' water out of our mouths and it wasn't the worst thing we have ever had but wasn't the best either. Overall, the atmosphere is nice. Certain dishes are good, but two out of three dishes being bland and not as described as the menu is rather disappointing. Not to mention the fact that we had to stop to grab something else to eat on our way home as we were still hungry, but dared not to order anything else.

This is a great place . . . . the food, the atmosphere and the service is superior. We ordered the pear and onion flatbread, the Thai calamari, the beet salad, the red snapper special and the brick chicken. ALL yummy. We will definitely be returning soon. The entertainment was AWESOME too. Vanessa is extremely talented and we really enjoyed both her voice and song selection. All in all a great experience.

Downtown Lake Worth has desperately needed a GOOD restaurant. Of course they just opened & the opening month(s) of any new business should be given a pass to work out the kinks. Our party of 5 shared about 7 dishes. Duck cigars were pretty tasty, the tuna tartar was OK. Had a strong herb flavor that overwhelmed the dish. My 5 yr old daughter ordered the Mac & cheese, pretty delish! Our server was very knowledgable & efficient.

I give four stars bc I want them to improve from the three I wanted to give. This place has such potential and already is rockin w buzz. The first thing I heard walking in was....Where do want to sit? Not hello. Not how many. But the hostess seems new. Letting that slide. Overall all the ambience is hoppin, decor is modern and sleek not too noisy even w a bustling crowd. The waitstaff looks like they are picked based in their looks and the waitresses are dressed as skimpily as possible which I think drops the "classy" vibe several notches. Our waitress was really good tho. Efficient and bubbly. The plates never stayed on the table long once finished. The kitchen is a well oiled machine. We were utterly impressed with the head chef who works his behind off with only two cooks. The food (and service) is lightning fast. The owner seems to always be there and you can tell he really takes pride in the restaurant. However, the manager was another story, she was either drunk or on something and that made for many a awkward conversations bc she stopped by the table way too often with nothing important to say and I noticed we weren't the only ones who felt that way. So now we get to the food. Yeah, tapas, they ain't for the healthy so I know that when I say everything is fried or swimming in grease, it's par for the course. The Brussels in truffle delish. Cut the oil by half...outstanding. Offer some options that aren't quite so heavy. The whole menu is heavy. That being said, the dishes are craft-fully created with balances of flavors which can make any tongue happy. The figs in prosciutto, the asparagus dish, etc were very good. I'd steer clear from the duck cigars as the duck was overpowered by another meat mixed in but the idea is nice. All of the sauces make the dishes and for our table, at least, the inventive condiments made the meal. I know the menu can improve dramatically as feedback comes in. The chef is clearly capable and the owner has the spirit. We will try it again next year and hope I can give it four real stars. Good luck to them.

Our new favorite date night place! The food is high quality, fresh, 5-star. Great ambience. Try the beggars purse and bacon wrapped asparagus. The GM went way out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, very attentive waitstaff and quick service.

A definite thumbs up for this new restaurant/bar in downtown Lake Worth. Not only does Suri Tapas have an upscale, stylish vibe to it but the attentive service by the staff including the bartender and hostess was top-notch. Although we only had drinks at the bar the food being served to the customers seated at the dining tables looked incredible, so we will definitely be back to taste some of the menu items. At one point even the owner came over and introduced himself and was extremely courteous and friendly. A warm and inviting place that is a welcome attention to the area. Looking forward to returning!

Cool modern atmosphere. The clientele consisted of a mix of young professionals and older wealthy looking groups/couples. Service was fast and friendly with each table having 2-3 people tending to their needs (server, back server, and busser). The menu was interesting with something for everyone. My friend and I shared multiple items from the list and were very pleased with most. My only critiques would be that the pork tostones were a little bland. I wish they lived up to how wonderful they sounded on the menu and how great they looked. Also, the service was a little rushed and took drinks/plates off the table before they were finished and brought the check though we planned on ordering another cocktail. This happened with the tables next to us as well. For two people sharing 3 plates (one from each category) and multiple cocktails, we spent about 100 dollars. Overall, it was a very good experience. I plan to go back for drinks or for a date night. Suri is a great modern addition that was much needed in downtown Lake Worth.

A delicious farm fresh menu with an emphasis on shared plates. Their seasonal menus offer a pleasant mix of cuisines that will make you wanting to try every last dish.

Overpriced, food is below average and unfulfilling best sums this place, the only good feature about this establishment is a cool menu and its indoor outdoor sobe atmosphere. Won't be back.

Foodie Alert!!!! We went back the next night and the food was even better - and our first night there was pretty darn spectacular! Wish we had this restaurant in San Francisco!

Any joint that carries Simi Chardonnay by the glass is a friend of mine! Suri bests: Becky the Bartender, tuna tatare, duck confit flatbread... so far, as I'm still exploring their menu. More to come!

Granted it is a tapas place so expect small portions having said that my wife and i were stuffed from the three that we ordered. .. Brussels sprouts were excellent tuna was amazing and scallops were fantastic. . With bottled water and a drink came out to only $55 which was an incredible value considering. ... highly recommended
